I am a postdoctoral researcher working mainly in the areas of community ecology, macroecology, and vegetation science. My post-graduate research degrees at the University of Adelaide were on the systematics of fossil and living plants. Since 2010, my main research focus has been on informing conservation policy by: 1) determining the influence of climate on vegetation composition and function and; 2) identifying and modelling regional biodiversity, including development of software for mapping biodiversity metrics from point-based species inventory data.
